Practice & Work With Me

Ways to Practice Together

The Temple of Golden Ether is a space for embodied Dharma, sacred time, contemplative practice, and accompaniment through a changing world.

My work brings together Yoga Therapy, Jyotiṣa, contemplative practice, Ayurveda, nervous-system awareness, and years of work within care and social-service settings.

You do not need to arrive with a particular spiritual identity, level of yoga experience, or understanding of Jyotiṣa.

You can simply arrive as you are.

At this time, I keep my offerings intentionally simple.

There are two primary ways to practice with me:

Temple Practice — our weekly online group practice.

Threshold & Integration — individualized Yoga Therapy for periods of transition, change, and reorientation.

Temple Practice

Weekly Yoga & Jyotiṣa for Living in Sacred Time

Online • Sundays • 10am Central

A weekly space for returning to body, breath, sacred time, and the deeper rhythms moving through our lives.

Temple Practice brings Yoga into relationship with Jyotiṣa—the traditional Indian study of celestial cycles and sacred time.

Rather than approaching Yoga as a standardized sequence performed regardless of circumstance, we begin by asking:

What moment are we actually living inside?

Each week we orient to the present sky and allow that orientation to inform an embodied practice of movement, breath, mantra, meditation, rest, and contemplation.

Some weeks may be quiet and restorative.

Some may invite grounding and stabilization.

Some may ask for movement, strength, expression, release, or deeper contemplative listening.

The practice changes because we change, the seasons change, and Kāla—time—continues moving.

What We Practice

Each gathering follows a simple rhythm:

Arrival + orientation to sacred time

We begin by noticing where we are: season, lunar rhythm, relevant Jyotiṣa, and the qualities present in the collective field.

Embodied Yoga

Accessible movement and Yoga Therapy-informed practices responsive to the theme of the week.

Prāṇāyāma + subtle practice

Breath, mantra, mudrā, meditation, or other contemplative practices as appropriate.

Integration

Space to become quiet, listen, and carry the practice back into ordinary life.

This is not an astrology forecast followed by a yoga class.

It is an exploration of Yoga practiced in relationship with sacred time.

Who This Is For

Temple Practice may resonate if you are longing for a Yoga practice that is contemplative, spiritually alive, and responsive to the world we actually inhabit.

It may especially support people who are navigating change, caregiving, demanding work, social and ecological uncertainty, spiritual transition, disability or changing capacity, or simply the complexity of being human during intense times.

You are welcome to participate according to the capacity of your body on any particular day.

Rest is practice.

Stillness is practice.

Changing the practice is practice.

Listening is practice.

No previous knowledge of Jyotiṣa is required.

Threshold & Integration

A 1:1 Yoga Therapy Container for Times of Change

There are periods when our usual ways of orienting no longer quite work.

A relationship changes.

A vocation shifts.

The body asks us to live differently.

A spiritual framework begins transforming.

We encounter grief, burnout, uncertainty, identity change, creative emergence, or a threshold we cannot yet name.

Sometimes the wider world itself becomes part of the threshold.

Threshold & Integration is individualized Yoga Therapy for these periods of transition.

Rather than treating the threshold as something to quickly solve, we create enough space to listen to what is actually happening and develop practices that help you move through it with greater embodiment, discernment, and relationship to yourself.

The Work

Our sessions begin with your actual life.

What is changing?

What feels disorienting?

Where are you depleted?

What keeps repeating?

What is emerging?

What is your body communicating?

What kind of support would actually be useful now?

From there, our work may draw from Yoga Therapy and yogic psychology, meditation and contemplative practice, breath and nervous-system regulation, accessible movement, Yoga Nidrā, mantra, Ayurveda-informed rhythm and lifestyle reflection, and other practices within my scope of training.

When appropriate and desired, Jyotiṣa can also become an orienting lens for exploring timing, patterns, and the larger season of life you are moving through.

The point is not to fit you into a predetermined spiritual system.

The practices are chosen in relationship with you.

Thresholds Can Look Like Many Things

You do not need to be in crisis to enter this work.

You may be moving through career or vocational transition, spiritual change, grief and endings, relationship shifts, caregiver fatigue, burnout, changing capacity, creative emergence, questions of purpose or Dharma, major life decisions, or simply the unmistakable feeling:

Something in my life is changing, and I need somewhere to listen.

Threshold & Integration offers somewhere to do that listening.

About My Approach

I am a Certified Yoga Therapist and Dharmic counselor, with ongoing study in Jyotiṣa and Ayurveda.

My approach has also been deeply shaped by work within disability and human-service settings, Disability Studies, contemplative practice, liberation-oriented inquiry, and sustained study of how spiritual practice meets actual human lives.

I understand Yoga as more than physical exercise.

Yoga can become a way of developing relationship with body, mind, breath, consciousness, community, ecology, and time itself.

And I understand Jyotiṣa not primarily as a technology for predicting what will happen to us, but as a contemplative language through which we can become more attentive to Kāla—the movement and quality of time.

The work of the Temple grows from this meeting place.

You Are Welcome Here

You do not need to have your life figured out.

You do not need to become a different kind of person before beginning a practice.

And you do not need to adopt every philosophical or spiritual framework I work within.

Come because something here feels useful.

Come because you want to practice.

Come because you are moving through a threshold.

Come because you are curious about what it might mean to live in deeper relationship with body, Dharma, and sacred time.
